DROP-IN SERVICES
HELPING WITH BASIC NEEDS
Our drop-in program is open 7 days a week 9am-5pm and is open to everyone. Whenever someone visits our drop-in Centre they will have immediate access to services such as:
- A warming/cooling Centre
- Brief services and support
- Housing support services
- Help filling out paperwork
- Community referrals
- Basic needs: A hot shower, clothing, toiletries, coffee, tea, and more.
Of course, the most important thing that people receive when visiting the Drop-in Centre is acceptance, companionship, a listening ear, friendship and hope for a better future.
All of our programs are designed to empower individuals and families who are experiencing, or at immanent risk of, homelessness in our community while fostering a journey that keeps their housing safe or creates the shortest path from homelessness to housing.
Our drop-in program is located at 88 Mulcaster Street in Barrie, Ontario.
Housing Help Drop In, for those experiencing homelessness, operates on
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:30am to 12:30pm at 88 Mulcaster St. and Tuesday and Thursday's 1-4pm at the Barrie Downtown Public Library.
