Communities across Canada are rallying together to implement coordinated and focused approaches to end homelessness. The Busby Centre is one of the lead organizations participating in actively bringing those solution based and housing first best practices to our community. The Busby Centre is an active member in the Simcoe County Alliance to End Homelessness (SCATEH). Currently our Executive Director is also the Chair of the SCATEH which includes 70 partners across Simcoe County. Visit the Simcoe County Alliance to End Homelessness at www.scateh.com
Working with our Simcoe County Alliance to End Homelessness partners and community stakeholders we were able to connect with people experiencing homelessness over a concentrated period of time to gain local data as well as to get a snapshot of the crisis in our community.
